Why is Home Inventory So Low?
It's no secret that we are in one of the craziest real estate markets ever!
For the past couple of years, inventory has been mysteriously dropping while there appear to be more and more buyers. The end result has been massive price increases, bidding wars but even worse; frustration.
Now buyers are being squeezed out of the market not only because of higher home prices but also because of higher interest rates.
Why is this all happening?
There are several reasons.
First, with home prices at an all-time high, landlords have decided to stop renting their properties and put them up for sale. One would think this would create more inventory. The short answer is yes, however, all those tenants no longer have a property to rent, and with fewer rentals on the market, they are now being forced to buy... if they can.
But one of the hidden reasons for so little inventory is that would be home sellers who would normally cash out big time are worried that with all the bidding wars going on, they would sell fast but then have no place to go because they too would face being outbid.
So many homeowners who would normally be selling are still sitting on the sidelines only making the problem worse.
Fortunately, there is an answer! If you are a homeowner who wants to sell but is worried you won't be able to find a home, call me as I have a program for you.
It's called my Perfect Home Finder Program!
Here is how it works:
I have a way to find off-market homes where you won't have to face bidding wars.
All you need to do is let me know one or two specific subdivisions you are interested in buying your next home in.
I will contact unlisted homes in that subdivision that may meet your criteria and contact them on your behalf.
If they are in the same boat as you are... that is they are worried if they sell, they won't have a place to go, I will do the same thing for them.
Imagine not having to compete against the masses ever again. Imagine the stress relief!
Just contact me, tell me where you want to move to, and let's look at finding you a home where we can even make a contingent offer subject to the sale of your home! We know your home will sell fast and so will the seller of the home we end up making an offer on.
